Job summary

Jabil in Memphis, TN, is seeking a manufacturing assembler to coordinate tasks with the production team and fulfill customer requirements, including boxbuild and/or coating when needed. You will operate under supervision, follow standardized procedures, and maintain quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include assembling finished units per specs, organizing spare parts, performing basic 5S housekeeping, and supporting cross-functional teams to meet deadlines. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software.
• Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate tasks with teammates to organize tasks requiring multiple team members to accomplish.
• Assembles finished units per customer specifications.
• Keeps spare parts inventory organized and orders spare parts as needed to fill customer orders.
• Follows 5S attributes and maintains area clean and organized.
• Complies with safety and health rules and company security policy.
