Job summary

Anduril Industries in Rhode Island is seeking a Manufacturing Technician in Quonset to advance subsea robotics. You will assemble complex electro-mechanical systems, test subsystems, and integrate them into final AUV products ready for service.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers, build and test assemblies, route cabling, and develop fixtures to improve efficiency. A strong emphasis on quality and safety is required, with potential offshore travel.

Responsibilities

About The Job

We are looking for a Manufacturing Technician to join our growing team in Quonset, RI. In this role, you will work on cutting-edge technology advancing subsea robotics and play a key role in delivering our AUVs to our customers. Working in a multi-disciplinary environment to scale our AUV production system, this role will involve assembling complex electro-mechanical assemblies, performing sub-assembly testing and integrating them into the final product to be ready for service!

What You’ll Do

• Work within a team of multidisciplinary engineers and specialists on AUV assembly and integration efforts

Required Qualifications

• Familiar with simple fabrication processes, basic hand tools, and both plastic/metal part manufacturing

• A full understanding of the manufacturing life cycle
• Experience working off of technical documentation and engineering drawings
• Commitment to a high-quality product and strong sense of personal accountability
• Familiarity with building and maintaining electromechanical systems

• Has a never-ending sense of urgency and enthusiasm
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in sub-sea robotics (AUVs, UUVs, underwater equipment)
• Previous experience hoisting equipment or MA state hoisting license (overhead gantry, rigging)
• Experience working with electrical components up to 400VDc
• Proficiency with electrical debug including use of tools such as a digital multimeter
• Machining and/or 3D printing experience

US Hourly Range

• Manufacturing Technician/Level 2: $25 - $33/hour
• Manufacturing Technician/Level 3: $28 - $37/hour
• Manufacturing Technician/Level 4: $32 - $42/hour
