Job summary

Ceribell is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our fast-paced production team in Sunnyvale. You will assemble, inspect, and test electro-mechanical subassemblies, operate basic test equipment, and contribute to continuous improvement of manufacturing and quality processes.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of electromechanical repair or assembly experience in medical devices, understands documentation, and can handle lifting up to 50 lbs with team support.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of electromechanical repair or assembly experience in the Medical Equipment or Device Industry.
  • Knowledge of ISO and GMP regulations and requirements is a plus.
  • Experience with electronics and electrical test equipment is a plus.
  • Must be able to perform physical duties, including lifting up to 25 lbs unassisted and up to 50 lbs with assistance.
  • Organized and diligent with completing documentation.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong computer and technology skills (Excel, Word), ERP databases, and technology.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain company assets required to perform all necessary job functions.
  • Support manufacturing in production issues including documentation, assembly/test issues and evaluations.
  • Support warehouse with material kitting for assembly build.
  • Assemble and test electro-mechanical subassemblies.
  • Complete Device History Record documentation.
  • Gather feedback from Engineering and resolve observed non-conformances.
  • Maintain clean production workspaces following GMP practices.
  • Follow all safety and quality system requirements.
  • Provide feedback for continuous improvement in production.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance including calibrations, upgrades and verification of system specifications.

The Manufacturing Technician should be a highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced work environment. The Manufacturing Technician, reporting to the Manufacturing Operations Director, is a member of the production team and is responsible for material kitting, performing the assembly, inspection and testing of electro-mechanical subassemblies. The Manufacturing Technician position also operates simple test equipment, and collects data during product testing. The Manufacturing Technician assists in the continuous improvement of manufacturing and quality processes, assembly instructions, and all necessary manufacturing documentation.

What you'll achieve
  • Manage and maintain company assets required to perform all necessary job functions.
  • Support manufacturing in production issues including documentation, assembly/test issues component evaluation and any subassembly performance issues.
  • Support warehouse with material kitting for assembly build.
  • Assemble and test electro-mechanical subassemblies.
  • Complete Device History Record documentation.
  • Gather feedback from Engineering and resolve observed non-conformances.
  • Maintain clean production workspaces while following good manufacturing practices.
  • Follow all safety and quality system requirements.
  • Provide feedback for continuous improvement in the production environment.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance that includes calibrations, hardware or software upgrades and verification of system specifications.
  • Suggest improvements for manufacturing assembly instructions, test procedures and travelers.
What you’ll need to be successful
  • 1 - 2 years of electromechanical repair or assembly Technician experience in the Medical Equipment or Device Industry.
  • Knowledge of ISO and GMP regulations and requirements is a plus.
  • Experience with electronics and electrical test equipment is a plus.
  • Must be able to perform physical duties, which include lifting and moving materials weighing up to 25 lbs. unassisted, and collaborating with a team member to safely lift items up to 50 lbs. as required to meet operational needs
  • Organized and diligent with completing documentation.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong computer and technology skills with regards to software applications, (Excel, Word) ERP databases, and technology innovation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collectively and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
Compensation Range

$19—$25 USD
