Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 years prior manufacturing experience, 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 2 years prior manufacturing experience
• Experience reading engineering drawings, test plans, and work instructions
• Experience with laser and/or optics is preferred but not mandatory
• LabVIEW, CAD, automation experience is preferred but not mandatory

• Fully proficient support individual contributor. Works under limited supervision. May be a resource to other employees in areas of expertise. Assignments are moderately difficult requiring some judgment.
• Works under limited supervision. Less detailed instructions are provided and minimal peer review is required.
• Communicates with contacts typically within and outside the department on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring explanation or interpretation to understand and reach agreement.
• Work may be structured within identified boundaries and procedures. Follows established processes to complete tasks. Identifies problems and issues in straightforward situations. Resolves most issues.

Job Description

L3Harris is seeking a Manufacturing Technician C to join our team. Responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework, troubleshooting, and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.

• LabVIEW, CAD, automation experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Experience with Problem Solving tools and methods
