L3Harris is seeking a Manufacturing Technician B for Rochester, NY. You will conduct tests on RF and digital PCBs, subassemblies, or end products, using a range of test equipment and logging results in databases.

The role requires basic troubleshooting and the ability to work with a cross-functional team on a fast-paced production floor. Qualifications include a high school diploma (or equivalent) with experience, or an AA/technical degree.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant experience in RF/digital testing.
• Associate/AA degree in a technical discipline is preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting electronics at the component level is desired.

Responsabilités

Job Description:

In this role, individuals may be responsible for conducting tests on a variety of RF or digital printed circuit boards, subassemblies, or end products. Must be capable of using a variety of test equipment and logging information in technical databases. Basic troubleshooting skills are desired. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a cross-functional team.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for conducting tests on a variety of RF or digital printed circuit boards, subassemblies, or end products.

• Must be capable of using a variety of test equipment, logging information in technical databases and have a basic understanding of engineering schematics.

• Basic troubleshooting skills are required.

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a cross-functional team.

• Traversing across the production floor for the duration of their shift (up to 12 hours).

• Experience should include troubleshooting product, subassembly, and diagnosing circuit board failures to component level

• Experience with multimeters

  Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 4 years prior experience, 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 0-2 years prior experience

  Preferred Additional Skills:

• Basic knowledge of Electrical Engineering theory; Associates degree (technical discipline) is preferred

• Electronics / RF or Digital Troubleshooting Experience preferred.

• Experience with L3Harris RFCD products and assembly processes is preferred

• Able to perform LabVIEW driven automated tests

• Familiar with basic test equipment, i.e. Signal generators, oscilloscopes, power meters, spectrum analyzers

• Ability to read and understand schematic diagrams

• MS Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Regularly demonstrates a positive attitude

• Strong Customer focus

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Capable of identifying problems and contributing to process improvements

• Strong communication skills

• Willingness to work and learn in fast-paced production environment

  In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York is $41,500 - $76,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
