Job summary

Smith1903 is seeking a Manufacturing Technician in Godley, TX to support engineers and production teams in building, testing, and documenting products. The role involves both office-based documentation tasks and hands-on production work.

Responsibilities include operating machinery, conducting quality checks, and maintaining safety and cleanliness in the plant. This Temp-to-Hire position runs 6am-4:30pm, Mon-Fri, at $22/hr D.O.E., with potential for permanent placement.

Qualifications

• Must be computer literate and able to read written procedures.
• Must be able to record test data accurately.
• High School diploma or technical school degree, or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production machinery and equipment.
• Assemble, repair, or modify products according to defined standards.
• Conduct quality inspections and first-off testing to ensure specifications are met.
• Maintain workshop cleanliness, safety, and regulatory adherence.
• Communicate with production teams, engineers, suppliers, and customers to resolve technical issues.
• Support R&D by producing manufacturing packages and technical documentation.
