Job summary

Evolving Solution Services is seeking a Production Associate to help produce parts per schedules, quality standards, and safety rules. You will operate equipment, handle materials, and keep a clean, organized floor to support team efficiency on the production line.

You will follow procedures, meet production goals, and contribute to lean manufacturing while staying flexible across roles such as prepping, masking, blasting, loading/unloading, and painting.

Responsibilities

  • Follow OSHA safety guidelines and participate in 6S and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Operate equipment including blast booths, paint booths, curing ovens, and material handling systems.
  • Inspect and prepare parts by cleaning, masking, plugging, and staging per production specs.
  • Load and unload parts on racks or conveyors with proper alignment and safe handling.
  • Follow work orders and blueprints to ensure coatings meet customer and industry requirements.
  • Support ISO 9001 and AS9100 by following procedures and documenting results.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow.
  • Keep work area clean and organized as part of lean manufacturing.
  • Identify equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
  • Participate in root cause problem solving to improve flow and quality.
  • Contribute to a team-first environment focused on accountability.
  • Remain flexible to roles including prepping/masking, blasting, loading/unloading, and painting.
  • Track production output and complete required documentation accurately.
  • Maintain a customer-focused mindset emphasizing on-time delivery.

This role involves operating equipment, handling materials, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. Production Associates are expected to follow all procedures, meet production goals, and support team efficiency on the floor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and participate in our 6S and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Operate a variety of equipment including blast booths, paint booths, curing ovens, and material handling systems.
  • Inspect and prepare parts by cleaning, masking, plugging, and staging them according to production specifications.
  • Load and unload parts on racks or conveyors, ensuring proper alignment and safe handling.
  • Follow job work orders and blueprints to ensure coatings meet customer and industry requirements.
  • Support our ISO 9001 and AS9100 Quality Management System by following standard procedures and documenting results.

Being sensitive to the unpredictable demands and uncertainties associated with working in a specialty surface coating & finishing business is a requisite to delivering superior results and exceeding the expectations of our internal and external customers.

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to stand and walk for 8-10 hours per shift, often on concrete floors.
  • Regularly lift, push, or pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching.
  • Work in an often hot, loud and fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Exposure to powder coating materials, cleaning chemicals, and other industrial substances (PPE provided).
  • Required to wear appropriate PPE, including gloves, respirators, safety glasses, and protective clothing, as needed.

Monday-Friday 3pm to 11:30pm, one Saturday per month as needed
