AkroFire in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Manufacturing Technician 2 to hand mold silicon/neoprene coated fiberglass onto tools per drawings.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Significant experience in bagging.

• Maintaining documentation as required throughout the manufacturing process.
• Ability to read drawings and follow work instructions.
• Ability to work well with others to ensure parts are completed in a timely manner.
• Maintaining a clean and FOD-free workspace.

Job Accountabilities:

• Capable of using small hand tools such as hobby knives and scissors throughout the day
• Significant experience in bagging
• Using tools to verify output meets standards
• Maintaining documentation as required throughout the manufacturing process
• Ability to read drawing and follow work instructions
• Ability to work well with others to ensure parts are completed in a timely manner
• Maintaining a clean and F.O.D. free work area
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Job Specifications:

Education:Requires a High School Diploma/GED or combination of relevant education and work experience may be substituted to meet educational requirements only.

Years’ Experience:0-2years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment or similar preferred
