Job summary

VIAVI Solutions in Chandler is seeking an Entry-Level Manufacturing Technician to perform setup, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits and assemblies. You will develop test specifications from blueprints and diagrams and troubleshoot final systems.

The role requires a HS Diploma, ability to lift 50 lbs, and passing a pre-employment physical and spirometry. Forklift experience and manufacturing exposure are a plus; climate-controlled facility with day shifts is provided.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and pass physical/spirometry tests.
• Experience in manufacturing environments preferred; forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, test and troubleshoot circuits, components and assemblies.
• Determine test specifications and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams.
• Test and troubleshoot final systems and assemblies; perform rework as needed.
• Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions.
• Assist in selecting and setting up specialized test equipment.
