Maine Molecular Quality Controls, Inc. (MMQCI) is seeking a Manufacturing Technician I to support the manufacture of molecular controls. You will follow SOPs, work under limited supervision, and apply aseptic techniques in a regulated, ISO/cGMP environment.
The role requires biology training, attention to detail, and the ability to handle lab tasks such as routine QC and documentation. On-site work in southern coastal Maine, with opportunities to contribute to product improvements.
The Manufacturing Technician I accurately follows written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to perform a variety of molecular biology techniques which support the manufacture of molecular controls. Manufacturing Technicians are expected to have excellent laboratory dexterity, be proficient with micropipettes, aseptic techniques, molecular biology techniques and in the use of associated laboratory equipment. This individual is well-organized, enjoys detailed work, works with limited supervision by the Manager of Manufacturing Operations and may be called upon to assist with troubleshooting manufacturing processes and products.
The pay range for this position is $19.23 to $36.06/hour
