Job summary

Boston Brace International, Inc dba OP Specialty Bracing in Stoughton, MA, is hiring a Manufacturing Technician to fabricate pediatric orthopedic braces from measurements, casts and scans. You will work with hand tools on a first-shift schedule, using basic math and computer skills.

Summary

The Manufacturing Technician requiresfollowingspecific instructions and detailed work orders to manufacture a custom bracing product from measurements,castsand scans. We make bracing for ankle/feet, scoliosis/spine, and Plagiocephaly/helmeting for infants.

First Shift

Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Responsibilities

• Ability to work with hands, including good visual capabilities to assess symmetry.
• Use of basic hand tools: drill press, jig saw, hand saw, rotary grinders
• Capability forsome heavylifting of 30 to 50lbs.
• Aptitude for basic math skills, including reading tape measurements and following written instructions.
• Good readingskills and comprehension skills, as well as the necessity to learn medical termspertaining tohuman anatomy.
• Basic computer skills to open and send documents, as well as input information.
• Preform all other duties as needed.

Pay Range

The pay range for this role is: 20 - 23 USD per hour (Stoughton)
