Job summary

Dyna Flex Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our team in Ohio. This role involves setting up, operating, and troubleshooting specialized equipment used to produce thermoplastic hose, while ensuring product quality and process efficiency.

You will monitor performance, maintain records, and support multiple production tasks with a focus on safety and continuous improvement. The position offers growth opportunities and on-site training.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of manufacturing experience preferred with mechanical aptitude and ability to learn machine setup, process adjustments and troubleshooting procedures.
• Ability to stand/move for an 8-hour shift and routinely lift 50+ lbs.
• A 'quality-first' mindset with ability to interpret work instructions, follow specifications, use measurement tools and maintain accurate production records
• A desire to learn the technical side of advanced production and manufacturing and make an impact in all areas within the company.
• Experience with hose manufacturing, automatic cutters, crimping machines, coilers and tow motors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manufacturing equipment in accordance with established procedures, work instructions and best practices.
• Monitor machine performance and product output for variances; respond to routine process issues and complete production records.
• Utilize measurement tools to monitor production dimensions and verify conformance with specifications; report deviations.
• Establish and maintain proficiency in setup, operation and routine adjustment of braiders and extruders; diagnose routine issues and escalate as needed.
• Maintain accurate production, inspection and traceability records throughout the process.
• Learn core production processes and provide coverage in assembly and shipping/receiving when needed while maintaining primary responsibilities.
• Follow all safety procedures and keep work areas clean and organized.

Your Role: Manufacturing

As a key member of our Manufacturing Team, you will set up, operate and troubleshoot specialized manufacturing equipment used to produce thermoplastic hose. You will monitor process performance, maintain product quality and help ensure consistent, efficient production. You aren't just pushing buttons; you are crafting critical components for the Thermoplastic hose industry.

Your Daily Responsibilities

• Production: Set up and operate manufacturing equipment in accordance with established procedures, work instructions and best practices. Monitor machine performance and product output for variances, respond to routine process issues and accurately complete required production records.
• Precision & Process Control: Utilize measurement tools to monitor production dimensions and verify conformance with established specifications. Identify and report process deviations promptly.
• Quality Assurance: Perform in-process and finished-product inspections to verify product quality, dimensional accuracy and compliance with established requirements. Identify nonconforming products and follow applicable procedures for correction, documentation and escalation.
• Equipment Operation & Troubleshooting: Establish and maintain proficiency in the setup, operation and routine adjustment of braiders, thermoplastic extruders and other manufacturing equipment. Diagnose routine equipment and process issues, make authorized adjustments and **escalate** issues requiring additional support.
• Documentation & Traceability: Maintain accurate production, inspection and traceability records throughout the manufacturing and production process.
• Cross-Training & Departmental Support: Learn core production processes and provide coverage in assembly and shipping/receiving when business needs require it while maintaining primary responsibility for assigned manufacturing operations.
• Safety: Follow all equipment operating procedures and safety requirements. Maintain clean, organized work areas and promptly report unsafe conditions or equipment concerns.
