Job summary

PrideNow is seeking a Technical Writer 2 in Tualatin, OR to convert complex manufacturing processes into step-by-step instructions. You will craft and maintain work instructions, assembly procedures, and test documentation for manufacturing teams, collaborating with engineers and technicians to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in technical writing, manufacturing engineering, or a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with manufacturing methods, procedures, hardware specs, safety/quality, or product development.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Comfortable working with schematics, diagrams, layouts, and/or 3D models.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain clear, accurate work instructions, assembly procedures, and test documentation.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Support teams to capture instructions for future builds, updates, and work stoppages.
• Translate technical information, schematics, 3D models, diagrams, layouts, and verbal descriptions into clear written and visual instructions.
• Audit and improve work instructions with technicians and cross-functional teams.
• Support continuous improvement projects and process development.
• Respond to manufacturing escalations and ensure instruction corrections are completed on time.
• Ensure documentation meets engineering, customer, safety, and quality requirements.
