Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Sector seeks a Manufacturing Technician at Level 1 or Level 2 to join our Promontory, UT team. The role is 100% onsite, with potential overtime and shift flexibility; a DoD Secret clearance is required or the ability to obtain it. Physically demanding tasks include standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.

U.S. citizenship is mandatory. Responsibilities include following procedures, performing repairs, and operating common industrial tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret clearance.
• Physically demanding work including standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and climbing.
• Must read, comprehend and follow established written instructions.
• U.S. citizenship required for government clearance.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to work any shift.
• Follows established planning or procedures.
• Makes operator-controlled repairs as required.
• May operate drills, wrenches or other torquing equipment.
• May work with press cure equipment – PLC or manual control.
• Other duties as assigned.
