Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Technician B to perform a range of production assembly tasks on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies. Responsibilities include following detailed work instructions, assembling components, and maintaining quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent with relevant experience, and offers 4/10 work schedule with 10-hour days, 4 days a week at Londonderry, NH.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 4 years of relevant experience, or 2 years post-secondary/Associate Degree with 0–2 years' experience.
• Prior experience in an electronics or mechanical assembly environment preferred.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical, optical, or electrical components following work instructions.
• Perform visual inspections and functional tests of assemblies.
• Report deviations and participate in quality inspections.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and operate required tools.
• Work with RTV, epoxy, and other bonds/adhesives as directed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production goals.
• Adhere to safety, health, and environmental policies; demonstrate professional conduct.
• Demonstrate punctual attendance and reliable work ethic.

Job Description:

Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies. Works from work instructions and uses hand and/or power tools.

Essential Functions:

• Follow and comply with documents such as work instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Assemble mechanical, optical, or electrical components and subassemblies following specified work instructions and procedures to ensure finished product meets established operational, quality, and cosmetic requirements.
• Continuously perform visual inspections of materials for defects and conducts any range of functional tests and cleaning at prescribed intervals to ensure proper operation of various components during assembly.
• Report deviations from standard to appropriate resource for review, instruction and authorization and conducts quality inspection at specified intervals
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures.
• Work with RTV, epoxy, and other bonds/adhesives
• Cultivate a culture that assures effective cross functional teamwork.
• Performs job duties in a manner that complies with environmental, health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Demonstrate ethical and professional behavior in accordance with company values.
• Ability to report to work consistently on time

Qualifications:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associate Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Demonstrated proficiency at operating 25%-50% of workstations as documented by training record
