Job summary

Clayton is a leading home builder seeking dedicated Home Building Team Members to support manufacturing production operations in our facilities. The role emphasizes safe work habits, teamwork, and adherence to quality standards as we build, finish, and deliver homes.

Team members will read orders, follow procedures, and assist in planning material flow and tool maintenance while maintaining clean, organized work areas and complying with OSHA rules to ensure efficient, safe production.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to read confirmation orders and build accurately.
• Must follow safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
• Willingness to transfer to various departments as needed.
• Must be even-tempered with teamwork focus.

Responsibilities

• Practice safe work habits to ensure production is efficient and safe while observing all relevant OSHA regulations.
• Work in a team environment to produce products that conform to our quality standards while achieving our productivity objectives.
• Serve as a good steward of our company's physical assets, protecting them from damage and misuse, reporting all needed maintenance, keeping assigned areas clean and orderly.
• Assist Team Leader and Area Coordinator to plan and organize the manufacturing activities in your area by communicating anticipated material shortages, identifying required tool maintenance, and communicating any quality and productivity issues.
• Perform other duties assigned.
