Job summary

TE Connectivity Mount Joy is seeking a Manufacturing Team Leader I for the 2nd shift to drive daily production, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives at the Mount Joy, PA facility. You will supervise operators, coordinate staffing, and partner with maintenance, quality, and engineering to meet schedules and quality metrics.

The role emphasizes leadership, problem solving, and adherence to ITAR/EAR controls while delivering a competitive base compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of related work experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented with multi-tasking abilities.
• Ability to work under general supervision and communicate in English.
• Soldering certification preferable.
• Access to ITAR/EAR-controlled information requires U.S. citizenship or eligible status.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities to meet output, quality, and efficiency goals.
• Monitor production performance and drive corrective actions to meet schedules.
• Coordinate staffing, work assignments, and overtime to support production demands.
• Reduce downtime by rapidly addressing equipment and process issues.
• Drive continuous improvement to eliminate waste and improve throughput.
• Monitor scrap, rework, and defects; perform root cause analysis.
• Ensure operators follow standardized work instructions and procedures.
• Support inventory accuracy and material availability to prevent interruptions.
• Train, coach, and develop production staff to improve skills and performance.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and excellence.
• Review KPIs such as OEE, efficiency, and on-time delivery; act with urgency.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to optimize performance.

Shift and Schedule

This position will be working 2ndshift.Monday through Thursday 4 pm - 2:30 am

COMPENSATION
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $18.00 - $24.00 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
