Job summary

TE Connectivity Mount Joy is seeking a Manufacturing Team Leader I for the 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 4:00 pm–2:30 am). Lead daily production activities, optimize output, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate staffing to meet schedules in a climate-controlled environment.

You will drive continuous improvement, monitor KPIs, collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain, and mentor operators to develop skills while adhering to ITAR/EAR requirements and maintaining clear

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of related work experience is preferable
  • Detail-oriented and capable of multi-tasking
  • Ability to work under general supervision
  • Clear written and verbal English communication
  • Soldering certification preferable
  • This position requires ITAR/EAR ITAR/EAR access; US citizen or eligible status required
  • HS Diploma or GED Required

Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in daily production activities to achieve output, quality, and efficiency goals.
  • Monitor production performance and drive corrective actions to meet schedules.
  • Coordinate staffing, work assignments, and overtime to support production demands.
  • Reduce downtime through rapid response to equipment and process issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement to eliminate waste, increase productivity, and improve throughput.
  • Monitor and reduce scrap, rework, and defects through root cause analysis.
  • Ensure operators follow standardized work instructions and procedures.
  • Support inventory accuracy and material availability to prevent interruptions.
  • Train, coach, and develop production employees to improve skills and performance.
  • Drive a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
  • Review production KPIs including OEE, efficiency, labor utilization, scrap, downtime, and on-time delivery.
  • Partner with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to optimize production performance.

Shift and Schedule:

This position will be working 2ndshift.Monday through Thursday 4 pm - 2:30 am

Job Responsibilities:

COMPENSATION
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience:$18.00 - $24.00 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
