Find Great People | FGP is seeking a Regional MES & Manufacturing Systems Manager to lead production-critical systems across its Americas operations. You will manage approximately 20 MES professionals across the U.S.

and Mexico, supporting 24/7 manufacturing environments and coordinating with global IT. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in MES or manufacturing systems, proven multi-site leadership, and a track record of owning manufacturing applications post go-live.

• Partner with plant leadership, Operations, Engineering, Quality, and global IT.
• Align regional priorities with the global MES organization in China.
• Develop team members and ensure the right technical capabilities are in place.

A global electronics manufacturer is seeking a Regional MES & Manufacturing Systems Manager to lead production-critical systems across its Americas operations. This role oversees approximately 20 team members across the U.S. and Mexico and supports 24/7 manufacturing environments.

This is not a traditional corporate IT role. We are looking for a strong people leader who has worked closely with manufacturing operations and understands the urgency of supporting systems that directly affect production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead approximately 20 MES professionals across three regional teams.
• Oversee MES support, availability, and incident response for 24/7 manufacturing operations.
• Lead the Americas rollout of an internally developed MES platform.
• Manage MES deployments, integrations, upgrades, enhancements, and post-go-live support.
• Build effective team structures, support processes, KPIs, SLAs, and escalation procedures.
• Partner with plant leadership, Operations, Engineering, Quality, and global IT.
• Align regional priorities with the global MES organization in China.

Ideal Background:

• 10+ years in MES, manufacturing systems, Plant IT, or manufacturing applications.
• Successful leadership of MES implementations, deployments, or multi-site rollouts.
• Experience owning manufacturing applications after go-live, including uptime, support, and incident escalation.
• Strong people-management experience, ideally leading distributed or multi-site teams.
• Experience supporting production-critical systems in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical teams and plant leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, engineering, automation, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Helpful Experience:

• ERP, SCADA, PLC, HMI, historian, or shop-floor system integration.
• Custom or internally developed MES applications.
• .NET, C#, SQL Server, or manufacturing application modernization.
• SAP, Oracle, ISA-95, OEE, traceability, or Manufacturing Operations Management.
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations in the U.S. and Mexico.
