Qualifications

  • IPC Soldering Certification is a plus.

Job Summary

Support activities relating to the daily production and test environment of ZOLL Medical products, in an experienced level capacity.

Essential Functions

  • Daily production support to build and repair various complex test fixtures and cables.
  • Troubleshoots manufacturing failures or conducts laboratory activities in support of root cause analysis and identification of corrective actions, in conjunction with yield improvement activities.
  • Assists with process development and improvement activities. Supports the implementation and validation of process and product documentation.
  • Develops and implements various tooling and fixtures to meet the needs of the Manufacturing department.
  • Supports and implements preventative maintenance and calibration programs.


Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • High School Requires a minimum of a high school degree with experience in electronics or a Vocational/Technical degree or equivalent. required
  • Should have a minimum of 3 years of direct floor support experience in an electro mechanical and electronics assembly and test environment including troubleshooting activities and the operation of automated production equipment. required
  • IPC Soldering Certification a plus. Preferred


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to work independently, with limited supervision.
  • Ability to build and rework complex PCB assemblies with surface mount and through-hole components.
  • Ability to build and rework complex cables and test fixtures using wiring diagrams, assembly diagrams or BOMs.
  • Ability to read and work with technical drawings and electrical schematics.
  • Familiarity with operating in an ISO-9000 and Lean Manufacturing environment a plus.
  • Computer literacy is required.


Physical Demands

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours.
