Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a skilled CNC EDM operator to set up and run equipment, balance couplings, and assemble power transmission components in a fully onsite role at our Kentucky facility. You will clamp work, use fixtures, and monitor balance measurements to ensure products meet specifications.

Join a safety‑conscious team; you will report equipment issues, complete required training, and support continuous production flow while following ISO 9001 and API 671 guidelines and 6S policies.

Qualifications

• Understand, interpret and carry out job instructions.
• Use arithmetic, decimals, and fractions accurately.
• Read Calipers, Indicators, and Gage Block.
• Operate overhead cranes as needed.
• Complete safety requirements for touch painting of parts.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test and dynamically balance couplings and engineered products per schedule and procedures.
• Balance products on dynamic balancing machines with or without machine-guided measurements.
• Set up CNC EDM equipment and clamp work using fixtures and locating plates.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and report malfunctions or discrepancies.
• Adhere to ISO 9001 QOPs, API 671 guidelines and 6S policies.

Job description

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Purpose of Position

Set up and operate CNC EDM equipment to cut internal/external keyways or other product components, assemble and balance couplings in accordance with specifications, production schedules and established processes and procedures. Help recert assembly / disassembly as needed. Touch up of parts balanced that had coating.

Position Description

• Perform diversified operations to assemble, test and or dynamically balance a variety of couplings and engineered products in accordance with production schedules, specifications and established procedures.
• Work Involves the assembly of power transmission products, maintaining component parts inventory, balancing all products on dynamic balancing machines with and without computerized balance measurements and locations. Touch up of parts that went through balance that had coating.
• Ensure proper tools and set up are used.
• Set up and operate CNC EDM equipment as required. Clamp work to table without distorting the component using proper fixtures, work locating plates and shim as required.
• Break down set ups and clean up work area as directed
• Perform all necessary duties to maintain product flowing thru the different operations in proper sequence including assembly, balance, etching, stenciling and key seating.
• Report equipment malfunctions, material discrepancies, and unusual conditions to supervisor.
• Complete all relevant training provided by Industrial Powertrain Solutions.
• Promote team concept and train new employees.
• Adhere to all safety procedures.
• Understand and adhere to all relevant ISO 9001 QOP's and API 671 guidelines.
• Follow and adhere to all 6S policies and guidelines
• Perform any other related duties as directed.
