Job summary

Andersen Corporation in Bayport, MN seeks a Manufacturing Supervisor I (NEXT, 3rd shift) to coach and develop a multi-skilled team. You will review production schedules, ensure quality, and implement lean processes to improve efficiency daily.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of leadership in manufacturing, a degree preferred, and Lean certification. We offer a strong Total Rewards package with profit sharing and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing/warehouse operation.
• Demonstrated ability to work with and motivate people.
• Demonstrated experience implementing continuous improvements.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing operation with ability to acquire and apply manufacturing principles a plus.
• Continuing education in Management, Human Resources, Accounting, Manufacturing, Leadership, and Coaching.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Lean certification

Responsibilities

• Coach, train, support, and develop a team of flexible, multi-skilled associates.
• Review production schedules and resolve problems.
• Ensure product quality through standard work and training to those standards; train in operation and inspection techniques.
• Provide training and coaching to improve standard work, 5S, and housekeeping.
• Support continuous improvement and change leadership as required.
• Communicate with associates and supervisors regarding performance, safety, quality, and policy changes.
