Job summary

Otis Elevator Co. in Florence, SC seeks a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality output that aligns with production schedules.

The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for leading day-to-day manufacturing operations ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality output that meets production schedules and customer commitments. This role drives team performance through strong leadership, effective planning, and continuous improvement while fostering a positive, accountable, and inclusive work environment.

This position requires the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment, influence cross‑functional partners, and develop team capability in alignment with business goals.

Shift & Hours

Shift: 1st Shift

Hours: 6AM-5PM (Mon-Fri & weekends as needed. Start & end times may vary)

Key Responsibilities

Education / Certifications

• Prior leadership experience (leading 20+ employees) required.
• OSHA 10 or equivalent safety training preferred.
• Warehouse & DC Supervisors are required to have PIV, warehousing, shipping and receiving experience.

Physical Demand

• Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
• Must be able to stand and walk for up to 10 hours a day.

Must be able to wear/use the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment. Mental requirements include, but are not limited to, the ability to concentrate, take initiative, and to cope with stress, and repetitive tasks and be able to self‑inspect and take responsibility for quality of own work.

Environmental Exposures

Exposed to heat, noise, dust, dirt, and moving machinery, 100% inside work. Must be aware of moving machinery.
