Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Staff Accountant for a well‑established manufacturing company in Defiance, Ohio. You will support the month‑end close, perform account reconciliations, and ensure accurate financial records while processing customer cash receipts.

You’ll collaborate with the accounting team, prepare journal entries, and contribute to special projects. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred, with experience in manufacturing and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
Strong understanding of reconciliations and accounting principles.
Experience with cash applications or accounts receivable.
Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
Process and apply customer cash receipts accurately
Assist with month-end close and related accounting activities
Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate financial records
