Job summary

Metal Processing Group, an affiliate of The Heico Companies, in Irwindale, CA, seeks a Staff Accountant reporting to the Accounting Supervisor to ensure US GAAP compliance across the company's accounting processes.

Responsibilities include bank reconciliations, multi-site payroll, AP/AR, month-end closings, GL analysis, chart of accounts, and advanced Excel usage. 5+ years in manufacturing accounting and a Bachelor’s degree are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years Accounting experience in manufacturing production.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or similar discipline (comparable work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree).
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Experience “closing” of financial records monthly in a timely manner.

The Position

The Staff Accountant reports to the Accounting Supervisor. This position assists the Accounting Supervisor and Controller in ensuring that the Company’s accounting processes, including policies, are in accordance with US GAAP.

Pay: $90,000 to $100,000
