EFCO Corp. in Des Moines, IA, seeks an industrial painter to apply coatings and surface treatments to metal parts, maintain clean equipment, and follow EFCO's safety and quality guidelines to keep production flowing.
You will set up paint, adjust viscosity, operate spray gear and towveyor systems, document daily labor and inventory, and help keep the work area organized and safe for a fast-paced production environment.

Use spray equipment to evenly cover parts with industrial coatings, achieving a consistent, high-quality surface that meets EFCO’s finish standards.
Adjust paint viscosity, temperature, and pressure to ensure smooth application. Swap out 55-gallon paint drums and prep material flow for uninterrupted operations.
Run towveyor systems and spray guns efficiently. Conduct basic maintenance and troubleshooting to keep tools in safe, working condition.
Keep the painting area clean and free of debris. Follow all safety protocols and wear required protective equipment at all times.
Record daily hours, material usage, and inventory movement. Complete inspection forms and quality checks as part of the production process.
Transport and position parts for painting using hoists or other material handling tools, ensuring they are properly staged for the next process.
Assist with additional tasks assigned by supervisors to meet department goals and keep production on track.
