Job summary

Tulip is hiring in Somerville, MA for a customer-facing role focused on manufacturing operations technology. You will lead enterprise projects, architect solutions, and guide integrations of Tulip products with MES/ERP systems.

This position emphasizes collaboration with customers, partners, and internal teams to deliver high-quality outcomes. We value hands-on shop floor experience, Lean/continuous improvement leadership, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years in manufacturing, operations technology, or a related field with demonstrated customer-facing project leadership.
  • Experience with Operations Technology including MES/ERP; architecture and implementation experience is a strong plus.
  • Experience in system and device integration in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven track record leading Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives; ability to walk a shop floor and identify opportunities.
  • Strong project management, organization, and communication skills — written and verbal — with experience managing enterprise-level engagements.
  • 25% travel expected within North America.
  • BS in Engineering or similar field.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with customers to understand operational challenges, goals, and success criteria — supporting solution architecture for processes.
  • Work with customers and partners to develop, configure, and implement Tulip solutions.
  • Support delivery of enterprise-level customer projects from kickoff through delivery, ensuring on-time, high-quality outcomes.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships across customer organizations, from shop floor to C-suite.
  • Provide ongoing technical support to customers, diagnosing issues and driving resolution with urgency and care.
  • Leverage knowledge of OT/IT systems (MES, ERP, device integration) to guide customers through implementation decisions.
  • Serve as a voice of the customer internally — surfacing insights to Product and Engineering teams.
  • Contribute to development and improvement of internal processes, playbooks, and delivery frameworks.

The role is located in Somerville, MA. We have a hybrid work environment and are in the office 3+ days per week.

What skills or experience do I need?

Expected compensation ranges for this role may change over time. The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $130,000 per year.
