Spindrift Beverage Co, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Site Supervisor to lead on-site production, ensure food safety and quality, and drive productivity improvements in Memphis, TN. The role collaborates with contract manufacturers and internal teams to adhere to specifications and protocols.

The successful candidate will apply critical thinking, communicate effectively, and oversee transitions from R&D to full-scale production, with travel up to 60% as needed.

• Minimum of 3 years quality and operations food experience in CPG (beverage preferred).
• Able to thrive in an entrepreneurial plant environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Able to commute to Memphis, TN within about an hour.

Responsabilidades

• Execute and improve onsite manufacturing to food safety, quality, and productivity targets.
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers to ensure adherence to specs and protocols.
• Certify manufacturing instructions and product manuals are followed during production.
• Observe raw materials, packaging, and products to identify issues and improvements.
• Analyze production data to drive KPI improvements.
• Assist with transitions from R&D to full-scale production.
• Support capital project commissioning with co-manufacturers and engineers.

Reporting to a Manufacturing Site Manager, the Manufacturing Site Supervisor will be responsible and accountable for executing and helping to improve onsite manufacturing of product to the highest levels of food safety, quality, and productivity. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Working onsite and remotely with contract manufacturers to ensure products are made in accordance to specifications and with established protocols with regard to raw material, product, manufacturing techniques, and packaging
• Certifying that Manufacturing Instructions and Product Manuals are adhered to during production while still applying experience and judgement to make the best possible product
• Conducting critical observation of raw materials, packaging, and products used during manufacturing to identify and resolving issues as well as drive opportunities for improvement
• Collecting and analyzing data gathered during production to help drive meaningful improvements to Key Performance Indicators
• Working with co-manufacturers, contracted engineers, and internal customers to help commission Spindrift specific capital projects
• Assisting with transitioning products from the R&D environment to full scale production
• Staying current on industry developments relative to processing, equipment, and packaging innovation while identifying potential applications for Spindrift
• Helping lead continuous improvement activities
• Available for travel up to 60%

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years quality and operations food experience (beverage preferred) within CPG industry
• Comfortable operating within a plant environment
• Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment (e.g., being able to wear multiple hats, considering no task too small nor too large, etc.)
• Ability to work independently
• Can apply critical thinking and make decisions, even in situations without perfect information
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Able to interact successfully with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels, inside and outside the company
• This position requires regular on-site presence in Memphis, Tennessee; candidates must be able to commute to Memphis within approximately one hour under normal conditions

Benefits

The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 and is dependent upon the candidate's experience prior to joining Spindrift. In addition, we offer the following compensation and benefits:
