Position Overview

Night Shift (12‑hour shifts – condensed 3‑4‑3 schedule) duties & responsibilities. Position is accountable for supervision and management of Production personnel, equipment, and materials for the Performance Products Group within a framework of safety, high productivity, high quality and yields, continuous improvement, and product delivery commitments. The role operates under AS‑9500 quality standard and requires familiarity with ISO quality environments.

The position includes hiring and training subordinates using the Learning System, monitoring processes, reporting and investigating safety issues (root cause analysis & implementing corrective measures), scheduling resources and prioritizing workflow through the manufacturing area. Interacts with other departments to assure safe production and shipment of quality products while meeting and exceeding customer requirements. Position is Day shift Monday – Friday (normal hours); other hours may be required as needed.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, and train subordinates using the Learning System.
• Monitor processes, report and investigate safety issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective measures.
• Schedule resources and prioritize workflow through the manufacturing area.
• Coordinate with other departments (Maintenance, Logistics, Engineering, Process, etc.) to ensure safe production and shipping of quality products.
• Work in Class 10 cleanroom environment requiring PPE: clean‑room gown, hood, booties, gloves and safety glasses.

Qualifications

• Associate, BA or BS Degree.
• Strong supervisory and management skills.
• Technical background related to vacuum deposition or equivalent experience in a vacuum coating area.
• Experience in AS‑9500 quality standard or ISO quality environment is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation and Benefits
