Job summary

EuropTec USA LLC, a U.S. glass fabricator with manufacturing operations in Chicago, seeks a Senior Accountant to support month-end close, cost accounting, and financial reporting.

The role requires examining variances, maintaining internal controls, and partnering with sales and operations teams to improve cost efficiency. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience in manufacturing, plus ERP experience (SAP or Infor) and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/business/finance required with 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Manufacturing experience highly desirable and plus for this role.
• Experience with month-end close, financial statement preparation, and cost accounting.
• ERP systems including SAP and/or Infor; strong Excel skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close activities.
• Prepare and post journal entries accurately and timely.
• Analyze results, investigate variances, and support budgeting/forecasting.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and strong internal controls.
