Job summary

Haleon is hiring an Operations Cleaner for our East Durham, NY site. The role focuses on cleaning and sanitizing production equipment and areas, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance. You will work primarily in the washroom and may assist in the production area.

Responsibilities include equipment cleaning, area sanitation, swabbing, and adherence to SOPs and GMP standards. Strong communication and physical stamina are expected, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: ability to communicate with coworkers, management and other departments.
• Requires ability to lift up to 55 pounds, stand, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Overtime availability may be required to meet business needs.
• Ability to operate electric pallet jack and RICO tote movers.
• Demonstrated computer skills (data entry, email, file access, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitizing of production equipment and parts.
• Clean production area and packaging/manufacturing spaces.
• Swab equipment as required and maintain a clean washroom.
• Follow SOPs, WIs, Forms and GMP guidelines.
• Support preventive maintenance of the workspace.
