This position reports to

Quality Specialist

Your role and responsibilities

Inspect and troubleshoot any defects or discrepancies in conformity. Assist other QC (Quality Control) Technicians, Operators, Wirers, and Assemblers when quality questions arise. Perform inspections using measurement tooling (calipers, gauges, meters, etc.). Train other employees. Inspect, examine, and observe for product or equipment defects. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications for the role
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • 3 years of experience in assembly, wiring.
  • Experience using computers and Microsoft Office applications like Excel, Word, and web applications.
  • 1-year experience in quality.
  • Associate degree in a technical study preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to read and interpret technical drawings and models.
  • Skilled in using tools, such as a screwdriver, crimper, and air gun.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Desired experience in SAP, SupplierNet, Salesforce, Windchill, Fletch (waiver/NCM workflows), BOX, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to work with teams and coordinate activities like rework, collaborate with suppliers, and facilitate return of materials (RMA).
  • Ability to document and track data in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Candidates must already have work authorization that permits them to work for ABB in the US.
