Job summary

Continental Industry seeks an Associate Engineering Technologist to provide technical support for profitable production of high-quality products and to design standard procedures for continuous quality and process improvement.

You will handle quality concerns, control non-conforming materials, assist with final audits, and support corrective actions for customers and suppliers while aiding with new products and engineering changes.

Qualifications

HS Diploma and applicable work experience required.
1-2 year’s quality experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment desired.
Must be able to work all shifts as required.
Strong leadership, people, and organizational skills.
Must be able to communicate to all levels of organization.
Must be able to solve problems and issues. Must be detail oriented.
Experience with ISO9001 or similar.
Experience with rubber manufacturing desired.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for manufacturing quality concerns.
Control of non-conforming material flow throughout the plant.
Assist with product final audit and testing.
Provide customer concern support and corrective actions.
Ensure supplier correction action effectiveness for all incoming material concerns.
Participate in layered audit process.
Monitor and analyze plant waste metrics.
Define preventive measures and detect control methods.
Monitor SPC activity and elevate issues as necessary.
Support new products and engineering changes.
Additional job duties as necessary to facilitate plant operation and needs.
