The Pivot Group Careers is recruiting Quality Managers for Cadillac, MI area. This role leads the plant quality system, drives ISO 9001 compliance, and partners with engineering and production to resolve defects.

We seek candidates with 5+ years in manufacturing quality, strong root-cause skills (8D, 5 Why), and a Bachelor’s in engineering or related field. Salary ranges from $90,000 to $137,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in quality engineering or management in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and audit programs.
• Experience with root cause and problem-solving methods such as 8D, 5 Why, and fishbone analysis.

Responsabilités

• Lead the plant quality management system and maintain ISO 9001 compliance.
• Investigate customer complaints and nonconformances; drive corrective actions.
• Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections and staff.
• Track quality metrics and report trends to leadership.
• Coordinate internal/external audits and manage CAPA log.
• Work with engineering/production on root-cause analysis.
• Maintain calibration of inspection tools and equipment.
• Train production staff on quality procedures.
