Job summary

Hyve Solutions seeks a detail-oriented QA/Quality Control leader to manage CAPA, reliability testing, audits, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, perform root-cause analyses, and drive continuous improvement across QA, EMS, and ISO programs, including ISO 9001/14001 and UL audits.

Qualifications

• BS degree in CS/EE/ME/Industrial Eng or related field with 3+ years in manufacturing.
• 3+ years in quality control and 3+ years in a leadership role or equivalent.
• Understanding of mechanical drawing and/or tooling.
• Server-level component design and system integration knowledge.
• MS Office suite proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Hands-on quality system training and SPC concepts.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve CAPA Plans for product and processes.
• Assess reliability tests, calibration, and verification processes.
• Perform failure analyses and root cause investigations.
• Lead internal audits for QMS, EMS, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
• Coordinate UL and other regulatory factory audits.
• Hold regular calls with customers or vendors and report findings.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Shipping, Warehouse, PMs and Procurement to meet quality standards.
• Develop proactive QA strategies and drive department initiatives.

Job Description

• Review and approve Product and Processes Corrective and Prevention Action Plans.

• Assess and evaluate all reliability testing, equipment service and calibration and the verification process.

• Perform failure analyses, root cause analysis and corrective action follow-up.

• Execute internal audits on QMS, EMS, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.

• Coordinate UL (Underwriter’s Laboratory) and other regulatory factory audits.

• Conduct regular conference calls with customers or vendors and provide reports as needed.

• Work with internal Production, Engineering, Shipping/Receiving, Warehouse, Program Managers and Procurement to meet quality standards.

• Develop proactive solutions and implement Quality department strategies across the organization.

• Perform additional assessment and analysis as assigned.

Qualification

• BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or relevant discipline plus 3 years of experience including a combination of 2+ years in manufacturing, 3+ years in quality control and 3+ years in a leadership position or equivalent combination of experience.

• Proven understanding of mechanical drawing and/or tools

• Should have a good understanding of server level component design and operation, as well as computer system level integration processes and interoperability.

• Working knowledge of MS Office programs; Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

• Hands on experience with quality system training including understanding of SPC (Statistics Process Control) principles and tools.

• Established ability prioritizing and managing multiple projects to meet strict deadlines.

• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, high volume, and diverse environment across functions to produce expected results.

• Able to work as business needs require which may include long days, occasional evenings and weekends, and travel to all manufacturing and warehouse locations, for business meetings or training.
