Job summary

Glenn Metalcraft Inc. in Princeton, MN is seeking a Quality Engineer to partner across engineering, production, and supply chain to build quality into manufacturing from the start. You will analyze data, initiate CAPAs, and drive continuous improvement across processes and documentation.

The role requires 3–5 years in manufacturing QA, GD&T mastery, PPAP knowledge, and strong communication skills, with hands-on SPC and measurement tool use on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a Quality Engineer role in manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of PPAP documentation and inspection techniques/philosophies.
• ISO 9001 standards experience and process auditing preferred.
• Deep understanding of GD&T and measurement planning.
• Proficiency with SPC software and general computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering, production, and supply chain to embed quality in processes.
• Analyze information objectively and drive CAPAs, NCMRs, and ECRs.
• Prepare PPAP elements, control plans, and initial sample reports.
• Provide training on inspection tools and equipment on the shop floor.
• Participate in MRB discussions and maintain calibration of inspection equipment.

A brief stand‑up with engineering, production, and supply chain aligns quality requirements with the day’s builds. By mid‑morning, you’re reviewing SPC control charts, spotting a drift before it becomes scrap. After lunch, you deliver an engaging mini‑training on inspection tools, then jump into a Material Review Board discussion to disposition a nonconformance. Before you wrap, you finalize Initial Sample Inspection Reports and bubble drawings for a new part, and queue up accurate, on‑time Faro Arm programs where needed.
