Job summary

Netpace Inc is seeking a QA Technician Inspector for the first shift in San Leandro, CA. The role involves routine inspections of materials, WIP, and finished goods, plus visual testing and documentation of results.

You will monitor production to ensure GMP adherence, identify non-conformities, and support corrective actions. The job demands strong attention to detail and good communication in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a QA, QC, food manufacturing, or production environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of GMPs, food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and quality systems.
• Ability to perform visual inspections, product evaluations, and routine quality records.
• Ability to enforce and verify compliance with food safety, quality and employee hygiene standards.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to recognize and elevate quality or food safety concerns in a timely manner.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform inspections throughout the production area for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished products.
• Perform visual inspections and quality testing using established procedures.
• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to GMPs policies and procedures.
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain quality records.
• Identify and report non-conforming materials, products, or processes.
• Assist with root cause investigations and corrective/preventive action activities.
• Place products on hold when quality concerns are identified and support disposition decisions.
• Conduct line checks, weight verification, label verification, code date inspections, and packaging audits.
• Verify employee compliance with food safety, quality, and hygiene standards.
• Escalate quality and food safety issues to leadership as appropriate.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

QA Technician Inspector

Location: San Leandro, CA 94577

Payrate is $25.00 per hour W2

Shift: 1st Shift 6am - 2:30pm (Monday to Friday) / Candidate needs to be open to overtime and weekend work when needed.

Is a possibility this assignment will be extended? Yes there is a possibility this assignment could be extend before the 8 weeks is up.

Candidate will need to interview with manager either via facetime or zoom.
