Job summary

Stewart & Stevenson is seeking a Manufacturing Project Manager in Houston, TX to lead the full project lifecycle from sales quotation through production and warranty. You will own project reporting, cost control, and customer communications, ensuring alignment with BOM, schedules, and profitability targets.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3–7 years of relevant experience in manufacturing project management, with strong skills in communication, leadership, budgeting, and ERP systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; four-year college or university.
• Experience managing manufacturing projects with P&L accountability.
• Strong communication, planning, and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage full project life cycle from sales quotation to post-warranty.
• Develop and implement reports for project status, costs, and variances.
• Coordinate customer communication and change orders; ensure on-time delivery.
• Review contracts and BOM costs against manufacturing requirements.
• Lead cross-functional teams to meet project goals and quality standards.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, billing, and financial performance.
• Conduct post-project reviews and implement improvements.
