  • Prepare clear and concise project status reports and communicate progress, risks, and issues to project stakeholders.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings, document meeting minutes, and assign and track action items to completion.
  • Create, organize, and maintain technical documentation, presentations, reports, and project records throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop detailed installation scopes of work and equipment specifications for manufacturing and facility equipment.
  • Support the development of standard work, project procedures, and implementation plans for new equipment and processes.
  • Ensure all project documentation, including RFQs, specifications, layouts, and procedures, is organized, current, and accessible.
  • Create and update manufacturing and factory layouts using AutoCAD, including equipment, workstations, and material flow.
  • Support facility, equipment, and material flow layout development to optimize production processes and ergonomics.
  • Incorporate engineering changes, installation requirements, and process improvements into project drawings and layouts.
  • Coordinate layout reviews with internal stakeholders and suppliers to validate design, flow, and installation feasibility.
  • Develop Requests for Quotation (RFQs) for manufacturing and facility equipment, including detailed technical requirements and scopes of work.
  • Coordinate supplier bid reviews and technical evaluations, comparing proposals against specifications, cost, and schedule.
  • Assist with scope definition, supplier communication, and quotation comparisons to support vendor selection.
  • Support capital appropriation and procurement processes for large capital equipment and installation services.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets and cost tracking tools to monitor capital expenditures and operating impacts.
  • Monitor project expenditures against approved budgets, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Identify cost risks and opportunities for mitigation and support capital expenditure forecasting and reporting.
  • Help design and set up equipment, workstations, and assembly processes inside the factory to support production launch.
  • Provide project management for individual equipment, installation, and manufacturing-related projects, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget adherence.
  • Support commissioning, equipment acceptance, and production launch activities by coordinating stakeholders and documenting results.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure manufacturing engineering processes and industrial safety requirements are considered in project plans.
  • Engage with vendors and contractors to coordinate equipment installation, integration, and start-up support.
  • Apply basic-to-strong project controls practices, including schedule, budget, milestone, and action-item tracking for factory layout and process implementation initiatives.
Essential Skills
