Manufacturing Program Manager I

At Hidden Level, we’re building the future of airspace awareness through cutting-edge RF sensing technology. Our mission is to make the world safer—whether it’s protecting troops, securing infrastructure, or enabling smarter cities. We design, manufacture, and deploy advanced sensor systems that deliver real-time insights for defense and commercial applications.

Working within the Operations PMO, this role partners closely with other members of the Manufacturing Program Management team and cross-functional teams across Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, Contracts, and external manufacturing partners. The Manufacturing Program Manager I will coordinate day-to-day program activities, independently manage assigned projects and workstreams, track performance, identify and elevate risks, and help drive issues to resolution.

This role is well suited for an experienced manufacturing or program management professional who is ready to take on broader program responsibilities and grow toward full program ownership.

Location:

This position is located onsite in East Syracuse, NY.

Responsibilities:

Manufacturing Program Execution

  • Independently manage assigned projects, program workstreams, production initiatives, or deliverables within a larger manufacturing program.
  • Assist in developing, maintaining, and executing integrated manufacturing plans, production schedules, and program milestones.
  • Monitor manufacturing performance and identify risks, constraints, and opportunities that may affect production commitments.
  • Maintain program action items, risks, issues, decisions, and mitigation plans using established program management tools and processes.
  • Coordinate follow-up activities across Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, Contracts, and external manufacturing partners.
  • Collect, analyze, and report program status, performance metrics, forecasts, risks, and recovery actions to the Manufacturing Program Manager and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitate cross-functional program meetings, document decisions and action items, and ensure owners complete assigned actions.
  • Support production readiness activities from prototype development through full-rate production.
  • Coordinate production readiness reviews and help confirm that materials, processes, documentation, tooling, fixtures, test systems, and resources are prepared to support production.
  • Help ensure engineering changes, product revisions, and manufacturing documentation, including bills of material, routings, work instructions, and test procedures, are incorporated into production plans.
  • Partner with Supply Chain and Planning teams to monitor material availability and alignment with production demand.
  • Assist Manufacturing and Supply Chain leadership in identifying bottlenecks and coordinating capacity, material, or schedule recovery plans.
  • Support Operations PMO governance processes and provide accurate, timely program updates.
  • Participate in manufacturing scale-up, operational growth, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles to support improvements in throughput, cycle time, quality, cost, and inventory performance.
  • Provide program leadership and decision support in the Manufacturing Program Manager’s absence or as delegated.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong organizational and execution skills with the ability to translate plans into coordinated action.
  • A results-oriented approach with a willingness to take ownership of assigned work.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • An effective communicator who can work across technical and nontechnical teams.
  • The ability to build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Sound judgment regarding when to resolve issues independently and when to elevate risks or decisions.
  • An interest in developing broader manufacturing program leadership capabilities.
  • A commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement.
