Job summary

AST SpaceMobile is seeking a highly organized Manufacturing Production Scheduler to align material availability, capacity, and production execution across multiple sites. You will develop schedules, monitor progress, manage production orders, and support daily meetings and management reporting.

The ideal candidate has 2–3+ years in manufacturing planning, strong ERP/MRP knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to communicate clearly across Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical discipline is preferred.
• 2–3+ years in manufacturing, production planning, scheduling, supply chain, or related environment.
• Strong ERP/MRP knowledge and Excel/data-analysis skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in aerospace/defense manufacturing and SAP/NetSuite is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor work orders, capacity constraints, material shortages, and schedule performance.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Manufacturing Production Scheduler in support of large-scale manufacturing activities across multiple operational sites. This position is responsible for overseeing production scheduling strategy, coordinating closely with the Planning team, managing production order release schedules, and ensuring alignment between material availability, manufacturing capacity, and production execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and communicate production schedules.
• Monitor work orders, production progress, capacity constraints, material shortages, and schedule performance.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Planning, and Program Management.
• Identify schedule risks and proactively communicate impacts and recovery plans.
• Maintain accurate ERP production scheduling data.
• Review MRP requirements and assist with production work order management.
• Participate in and support daily production meetings.
• Prepare production reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
• Analyze schedule adherence, backlog, capacity, and on-time delivery.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Track action items and ensure commitments are completed.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or related technical discipline preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and directly related manufacturing scheduling experience may be considered.

Experience

• 2-3+ years of experience in manufacturing, production planning, scheduling, supply chain, or a related environment.
• Strong ERP knowledge.
• Strong Excel and data-analysis skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Temporary House Allowance (If You Accept)

• Up to $5,000 in temporary housing
• $1,050/month stipend to support living arrangements after 1st working month on an ongoing basis
