Responsibilities

• Operate and learn multiple production equipment across Soil and Clean areas, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
• Sort returned soiled linens by classification and prepare carts for processing.
• Build, handle, and stack linens during folding and stacking, spotting defects or contaminants.
• Operate ironers, feeders, and conveyors and coordinate with maintenance for issues.
• Assist in loading finished linens onto trucks and maintain accurate records using computer software.
• Move between roles as needed while upholding safety, quality, and operational standards.

Role Overview:

The Production Operator rotates through various roles within a laundry plant, supporting the receiving, sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and loading of linens for hospitals and medical facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and learn multiple production equipment across Soil and Clean areas, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
• Sort returned soiled linens by classification, prepare carts, and ensure cleanliness and readiness for processing.
• Build, handle, and stack linens accurately during folding and stacking processes, identifying defects or contaminants.
• Operate machines like ironers, feeders, and conveyors, making quality and safety decisions, and coordinating with maintenance when issues arise.
• Assist in loading finished linens onto trucks, weighing carts, and maintaining accurate records using computer software.
• Perform duties as assigned, adhering to safety, quality, and operational standards, with flexibility to move between roles as needed.

Qualifications & Skills
