Job summary

You will coordinate with Product Management, Engineering, and Operations to ensure readiness and scalable production. The role emphasizes APQP, process validation, line balancing, tooling plans, and work instructions, with emphasis on localization for US manufacturing and cross-functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 3–8 years in Product Manufacturing Engineering or related industrial roles.
• Experience developing routings, work instructions, and production readiness documentation.
• Proficiency in Lean, VSM, PFMEA, control plans and standard work.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOMs and customer requirements.
• Strong cross‑functional communication with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain and PM.

Responsibilities

• Develop new product manufacturing processes, routings, and work instructions.
• Support APQP, PFMEA, control plans, and production readiness reviews.
• Analyze manufacturability and provide DFM feedback to Product Management and Engineering.
• Define tooling, fixtures, gauges, and workstation requirements.
• Support SAP routing, BOM review, and master data accuracy.
• Lead line balancing, VSM, cycle-time analysis, and standard work development.
• Support prototype builds, pilot runs, and transition to production.
• Partner with Quality to reduce scrap, rework, and field quality risks.
• Support supplier localization and component readiness.
• Provide technical support during launch, ramp-up, and continuous improvement.
