Job summary

Quantic TRM is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician in Bedford, NH to partner with production and engineering teams to optimize processes, tooling, ergonomics, and 5S implementation. You will design methods, review routings, and help lay out cells for efficient material flow, while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years working in a manufacturing company.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to understand interactions between engineering roles and production environments.
• Proven ability to improve manufacturing processes with input tools.
• Organized, task driven with the ability to multitask.
• Passion for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Write, implement, and train people to written work instructions or visual aids.
• Identify the need for and work with engineering on process improvements for the purpose of increased quality, increased efficiency and/or increased performance.
• Review BOM's, routings and work instructions to prepare work locations for material and tooling presentation.
• Work with the assigned team to reduce error opportunities and reduce labor hours per unit.
• Work with other members of the manufacturing engineering team by providing process level data that supports continuous improvement efforts in manufacturing processes, tooling, and hardware.
• Assist in ECO process and implementation as required.
• Be a key member of the team evaluating internal product quality issues.
