Kerry is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to be located on site daily at our Harrisonburg, VA site. The role focuses on process optimisation, OEE and yield improvements, plus working with R&D and operations to scale new products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical or Food Processing).
• Lean Six Sigma qualification preferred.
• 5+ years in plant maintenance, manufacturing engineering or process engineering.
• 1–2 years in food manufacturing or similarly regulated environments.
• Experience with Food unit operations: Solid-Liq Extraction, Evaporation, Centrifuge, Pasteurization.
• Experience managing capital projects $50k–$500k.
• Competitive hiring range stated; multiple factors affect pay.

Responsibilities

• Lead process optimisation for OEE, yield, and NPI.
• Support operator capability through SOP creation, training, and knowledge sharing.
• Own 1-KPS problem solving for site issues.
• Assist plant maintenance with special tasks and actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet milestones on time, budget and quality.
• Plan projects and allocate resources to meet production targets.
