Job summary

Planet Pharma in Minnesota seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to support daily operations of blood product production, ensuring efficient processes, equipment reliability, and quality compliance. You will partner with Quality Engineering, R&D, Process Development, and Operations to resolve issues and implement technical changes.

This role requires a Bachelor's in engineering and 1–3 years of related experience, with knowledge of IQ/OQ/PQ and Lean methods preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• 1–3 years of relevant engineering or manufacturing experience required.
• Knowledge of process validation/qualification principles (IQ/OQ/PQ) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day engineering support for manufacturing processes, production equipment, product flow, and line performance.
• Participate in disposition of nonconformances and CAPAs related to materials, methods and equipment.
• Support transfer of processes from development to manufacturing and implement technical changes to sustain capacity and quality.
• Create, revise, and maintain manufacturing procedures, routers and BOMs to align with approved practices.
• Apply validation principles to equipment and processes to maintain compliant production.
