Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Associate degree in an Engineering field with applicable Manufacturing Engineering experience.
• Previous Internship/Co-op is preferred.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States. No sponsorship now or in the future for this position.

Responsibilities

• Develops and improves production processes.
• Identifies bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement with production staff.
• Designs fixtures/tooling and upgrades of machines to improve quality and efficiency.
• Develops cost/benefit analysis and layout for future machinery purchases.
• Assists with cost estimates by analyzing the production process.
• Designs manufacturing processes for new parts or products and maintains process documentation.
• Writes ECOs and reviews them to determine feasibility and cost.
• Updates process documentation and trains staff on new methods.
• Provides direct problem-solving support to production and quality functions.
• Oversees use of quality tools such as SPC and control plans.
