Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in engineering/technical field or related field is required.
• 1-3 years of work experience in engineering or manufacturing is preferred.
• Knowledge of general engineering principles is expected.
• Technical experience in mechanical or chemical engineering with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of processes used in development and manufacturing of medical devices, especially diabetes strips, is a plus.
• Experience in engineering calculations, controlled tests and statistical analyses is desirable.

In Abbott’s Heart Failure (HF) business, we’re developing solutions to diagnose, monitor and manage heart failure, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.Responsible for assisting to the development of new manufacturing processes and equipment for use in production of medical devices.
