Qualifications

• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree required.
• Experience with electrical CAD design tools preferred.
• Knowledge of PLC, HMI, and vision programming advantageous.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling.
• Arranges machines within plant facilities to ensure efficient and productive layouts.
• Specifies operation sequences and fabrication procedures for tools and equipment.
• Adapts designs to factory and production conditions.
• May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.
• Inspects performance of machinery to verify efficiency and initiates corrective actions.
• Develops processes applicable to statistical process control.
• Guides engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
• Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.
