Job summary

Creare is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Assistant to support manufacturing engineers in managing hardware production and QA activities. The role involves documenting processes, coordinating with technicians and vendors, and organizing storage and kits for fabrication tasks.

The ideal candidate has a certificate or degree in a related field with up to two years of experience, is proficient with MS Office and ERP systems, and excels in detail-oriented, collaborative work.

Qualifications

• Education in Business, Engineering/Technology, or Manufacturing related field; outstanding academic achievement
• Two years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Familiarity with MS Office suite and ERP systems/databases
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented and able to work independently or with others

Responsibilities

• Generate and maintain process documentation for manufacturing engineers and technicians.
• Collaborate with technicians, machinists, and support staff to process work across Creare facilities.
• Coordinate with outside vendors to quote, procure, order and track parts.
• Manage and organize controlled storage facilities.
• Pickup parts and assemble kits for fabrication tasks.
• Perform receiving inspections as needed.
• Learn Creare’s fabrication workflow and ERP system; follow Quality Assurance policies and report quality concerns.
